Welcome
Prayer is pouring out your heart to God as a friend.
It is part of a divine-human communication. It is not just giving orders or providing information. Prayer is our response to God who has already spoken. He has revealed Himself in Jesus, the living Word, the Bible.
In prayer we:
- respond with thanksgiving for the love of Jesus, the splendour of His creation and the hope of His return.
- express our petitions for His kingdom to come when facing sin and selfishness and all it consequences, feeling that God is far away.
- ask Him to intervene, for friends in need, for enemies lost in sin, for a world suffering.
